Who are we?

Yarra Valley Water provides essential water supply and sanitation services to over 1.7 million people who live and work in the northern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  In recent surveys, our staff noted many positive reasons for working at Yarra Valley Water – with majority rating 'the people' as the top reason why they enjoy working here.

Our award-winning culture fosters an inclusive, collaborative work environment and provides development opportunities and flexibility.  Our long-term strategy includes a commitment to put customers at the centre of how we think, and what we do, and to adopt a restorative approach to looking after the environment.

The Role
We are seeking a Coordinator who is passionate about diversity & inclusion, where you will be given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience leading and contributing to projects under our Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan and Gender Equality Action Plan. You will also support our team to deliver internal events to mark days of significance and provide administrative support to our internal groups such as the Pride Network and Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

We are committed to creating a workplace that is culturally safe for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. As such, we are actively seeking applications from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidates for this position.
