Yarra Valley Water provides essential water supply and sanitation services to over 1.7 million people who live and work in the northern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We are seeking a Coordinator who is passionate about diversity & inclusion, where you will be given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience leading and contributing to projects under our Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan and Gender Equality Action Plan. You will also support our team to deliver internal events to mark days of significance and provide administrative support to our internal groups such as the Pride Network and Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

We recently welcomed our community partner - Mullum Mullum Indigenous Gathering Place (MMIGP) to our Mitcham office where they will be located while their current premises are undergoing repairs. We look forward to having MMIGP at our head office on a more regular basis and the opportunity to get to know them on a deeper level and build even stronger connections.
You will be someone who enjoys working on projects; leveraging your strong communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills. Writing internal communications will also be a key responsibility for this role, to ensure employees are informed of the events and activities happening across the organisation.
Ideally you will have some experience in a coordinator type role and be open to learning new things.
Being confident using Microsoft Office programs (including Word & Powerpoint) and a natural team player will stand you in good stead for this role.

The role is an Officer Level 1 with a salary range of $76,000 plus 10.5% superannuation.
